A friend of mine was looking for a man, so she tried out a few different dating services to see which one she preferred. She went speed dating, online dating, blind dating and many more. She found online dating to be the best of the dating services. She was able to chat to guys before committing to a date.

She met up with a guy who she had been chatting to online and apparently they were together for a few hours before she took him back home to see her bedroom. She really liked him and they got on really well. She did continue to use the online dating services, so she didn't make her self exclusive to him, just in case things didn't work out.

Things were going really well for her and it was obvious to see she was all loved up. A few months later she came running round to see me. She was so excited, and I couldn't understand what she was saying. She had gotten home from work that evening and he was hiding in the bedroom. He phoned her house phone told her he loved her and in a whisper, told her to go upstairs.

She ran up to see what was going on and he was lying on the bed, covered in rose petals and candles lit, with a rose aroma, which filled the room. She walked over to the bed, and he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She screamed yes and then ran straight out of the house to come and tell me. I told her to hurry back home before he wonders what the hell she's doing and goes looking for her.

I was so happy for her and decided to give the online dating services a try to see if I could find love. Fortunately I did too. Although our story wasn't as romantic as theirs, I wouldn't change it for the world. His family are amazing and I get on with all his friends really well and vice versa. He still brings me breakfast in bed on the weekends and is always buying little gifts and cards. It's not just what he does for me though, I know he loves me, and that's just it. It's an amazing feeling to feel when you truly know that you are 100% loved.

It's scary to think that if we had not gone onto the online website, we would have never found our soul mates.
